We at Brennan realize that you are anxious to move into your new home. That is why we do everything we can to expedite the process. We take great pride in meeting the deadlines that we set up. However, in some circumstances, this is not possible due to timing delays beyond our control.
Weather
The most obvious possibility for a delay is the weather. We try to schedule the building process of your home around potential weather problems. Seeing that some elements cannot becompleted in the winter, but others can, we try to ensure that the steps that cannot be completed in winter are finished before the cold weather arrives. Even though we try our best to schedule around winter, in some cases it is impossible and delays are inevitable.
The other major problem with weather is rain. The biggest  problem is that rain is completely unpredictable so there is no way to schedule around it. Certain processes in the construction, especially excavation, are highly prone to delay due to rain and wet conditions. Thus, the construction process may experience minor setbacks.
Inspections
Due to the complexity of home building and to ensure your safety, there are many permits and inspections that need to be completed throughout the building process. These are often very long, detailed reports. Furthermore, they are subject to the availability of the inspector which can cause delays.
